NISSI & JIREH

I had a pleasure getting to speak with Peter the President of NISSI & JIREH. They opened their company in January of 2017. He has two very precious daughters that are 27 months old and the other who is 3 months old. They created the company to provide products that are safe and most satisfying not only to the babies but parents as well. They currently make teethers and 4 in 1 pacifier holder plush toys.

As far as their pacifier holders go I personally found these to be wonderful. They have created one with four functions – First, it can store an extra pacifier in the belly of the plush animal so that you have an extra pacifier if baby drops the current one it is holding. Second, it provides a teether. This helps soothe sore gums during teething with its soft and flexible resistance against baby’s gums. Third, it allows you to insert almost ANY pacifier in the market your child takes to. While I had the pleasure of testing out the Elephant with my daughter, I did find it difficult to hold a Difrax pacifier however, it has held all the others we have from Dr. Brown, Nuk all the way to MAM; and fourth, the design of the pacifier holder uses red, black and white colors on the stuffed animal. They stated that these were chosen due to their through research. It has shown that babies preferred these colors. As their eyesight and thinking are developed, contrast is an important stimulant. It has been said that these colors make a bigger impact on the retina and travel to the brain more quickly, making brain and visual development faster. The pacifier holder has been tested FDA, ASTM, CPSIA and BPA free.

My daughter absolutely LOVES her pacifier holder. As she can hold it or it can lay on her chest while she enjoys the soothing of her pacifier. We will definitely have to by the other adorable animals as well! I will be getting these as gifts too as I feel having a storage place for it as well is a wonderful idea as a parent, you know you can never have to many pacifiers/binkies!

Now, their teether comes in two different shapes. This allows your child to choose which one most comfortable to them one minute and which one is most satisfying the next. The best thing about their teethers are that it is soft and pliant which allows baby to experience neither too resistant nor too giving which helps soothe them from stress and frustration of painful teething. It also allows them to enjoy the softness that is soothing to painful gums. Their teethers also have multiple textures to the design as well. I was able to test out the pacifier holder however; my daughter is not able to test the teethers out just yet. But I’m sure she will take to them easy. If not, I know she has some cousins that wouldn’t mind trying them out. These were also made 100% food grade silicone and tested FDA, ASTM, CPSIA and BPA free too!

 

            One thing I found wonderful about the company is that they made a promise to all of their customers that they will donate $1 to children’s charities from EVERY product their customers’ purchase.
