          Okay if you are as bad as me when it comes to Etsy, you know there are TONS of things you can buy or have made to meet your needs. One day when I was looking around for baby items for my daughter I came across one young lady and her store. Super cute items and useful too! Her name is Melissa and she responds back so quick to answer any of your questions you may have. Her store on Etsy is MissysTinseyWinseys. She can make things from bumbo seat covers, shopping cart covers, Boppy billows, bedding and more!

          To give you a little information about Melissa and why she started her Etsy shop; she has been married for almost 7 years and has 3 kids whom are 6, 4 and 1 1/2. About 2 years ago she became pregnant with her daughter while working in retail management. She contemplated if she should continue working there throughout her whole pregnancy. Due to the fact that at the time she would have had 2 of her children in daycare and the other in after school care. By the time she weighed out her options offered in the area where she lives; she couldn’t see how anyone even with a good salary could afford child care for that many children.

          This is was what pushed Melissa to start her own business with Etsy. She first started out making simple items for her daughter and she started posting them as she was proud of her work as she tried something out that she had never done before. Melissa received wonderful feedback on her work from the locals showing how much they loved her work and the products she was producing. This pushed her to move forward with working from home and to learn as much as she possibly could. She said one of the best things was that it allowed her to have her children by her side each day without having to put in 60 – 80 hours a week. Not counting the half of her salary that would have had to cover 3 children for child care.

          I would definitely recommend her products as they are wonderful. Great work that shows love was put in to each piece. Here are a couple of her items that she has made and has available in her Etsy shop! I promise you cant go wrong with one of her creations!

I reached out to Parent’s Favorites and asked about the cup and told them I wanted to review this Haakaa straw bottle to see how well it works. This cup has ergonomic easy grip handles that allows your little one to gain the confidence to hold their cup all by their self. As most parents know, it’s so hard to keep our baby’s fingers short so that they don’t scratch themselves or even us. Personally when my daughter was about 2 months old; I tried clipping her fingernails. For me, that was the last time I would do that!
