I love talking with young women who start their small business and work hard to make them grow. I met Aleisha Winterton on Facebook when I was researching some items for my daughter and myself to help my daughter the best I can when it comes to breastfeeding her. I personally had an issue feeding her on my right side as I could not produce as much as I could on my left. So I originally took a look at her page to learn more about her Milk’n cream. Before I get in to that, I want to tell you all a little about Aleisha that I had the chance to learn. Aleisha is the founder, owner and the operator at Before & After Lactation and Smitten Baby Co. She said she had started her journey about a year ago when she became the breastfeeding coordinator at her previous employment. She was in charge of educating moms and offered support with breastfeeding. She realized there was a huge need with breastfeeding support and education within her own community.
            In August of 2016, Before & After Lactation was open and servicing the public. Later on she had many mothers seeking help with their milk supply. So she started researching and looking into natural ways to boost milk supply that didn’t require moms to ingest a bunch of pills and other unknown ingredients and formulated recipes that were designed to help breastfeeding moms naturally produce breast milk. By doing so, the first product made and introduced to was Milk’n Cream; soon after Nipple Butters came along and her business started growing.
            She also started offering breastfeeding classes and wanted to offer other products so she started making breastfeeding covers in her home. The more covers she sewed the more she started playing with patterns. Smitten Baby Co. was established in February of 2017; and it is a branch off of Before & After Lactation. This allowed for all the products that were offered with Before & After Lactation could simply be found in one place for moms and babies.
            Aleisha said that she loves helping moms and she loves sewing and sharing her homemade products with her customers. She uses all natural organic ingredients and the clothing is made with soft, comfortable fabric. As her company continues to grow; she is able to share new products, share her passion for moms and babies growth and bring more of what she loves to both Before & After Lactation and Smitten Baby Co. Her page can be found on Facebook where she is constantly bringing in new products. GREAT products that are safe for mom and baby and while you’re at it, you can get cute clothing items for your cute little as well! I recently purchased a pair of pants for my daughter and they are so soft and cute! Here are a few photos of what she has to offer too!

I reached out to Parent’s Favorites and asked about the cup and told them I wanted to review this Haakaa straw bottle to see how well it works. This cup has ergonomic easy grip handles that allows your little one to gain the confidence to hold their cup all by their self. This cup also allows your child to learn how to drink through a straw with the one provided with the Haakaa straw bottle. It is a silicone straw and soft for your little one. Baby Comfy Care Nail Clippers

As most parents know, it’s so hard to keep our baby’s fingers short so that they don’t scratch themselves or even us. Personally when my daughter was about 2 months old; I tried clipping her fingernails. For me, that was the last time I would do that!
