Stair Barrier
Recently I was
looking for something safe and unique…. Something attractive to block off my
stairway so that my daughter wouldn’t climb up the stairs and possibly fall
down them; I didn’t want to have the normal bar like gates across my stairs. So
recently I went hunting for something better. I came across The Stair Barrier.
The Stair Barrier is an attractive piece, a solution for those tricky stair
cases in some homes, they are structurally reinforced, easy installation
without any banister drilling, lightweight and portable, retractable and made
in America!
The
attractiveness it brings to the home is somewhat welcoming. As most of you know
staircases become the focal point in most homes and can stand out. The design
of the stair barrier allows you to have a clean and sleek look to your staircase.
As for the tricky staircases you may own, you know there are many ways
staircases can be built… whether there is a curve, column or square shaped
banisters or any other unique spends on a staircase you may face. The stair
barrier is designed with ease and can be secured with the simple straps and
dual-sided buckles. If you own one that has an extra-wide space or a narrow
space they do offer custom widths to accommodate staircases up to 100” wide.
The stair barrier
is also structurally reinforced. This allows their gates from being pulled up
or down; and without horizontal bars for kids to use for climbing or opening s
for kids to get their fingers stuck within the gates. The installation is super easy as well. There
is no assembly required or additional mounting or extension kits needed. Those
staircases with banister to banister gates can be installed within minutes
without any tools. The gate has an easy to use strap and buckles system that
keeps the banister safe and allows stair barrier to be used on any banister
type. The retractable design allows for
rolling neatly to one side when it is needed to allow you to go upstairs
without tripping over the metal bar most gates have. The stair barrier is also light weight and
portable so you can easily pack it up and take it wherever you go! Some may
even like the fact that the company has their products made in America. They
are located in Cornelia, Georgia and they utilize American made materials!
For my personal
experience, I would agree that it is very pleasant to the eye and doesn’t stick
out like the normal gates do. I don’t have to worry about tripping over the
metal bars or anything. I definitely would recommend this product to all my
friends and family. The only down fall I notice with it is when I have my
daughter in my hands and need to go up the stairs or when coming back down. With
the buckle clips used to hold it in place can become hard when holding your
baby as you need both hands to clip it back in to place; It’s not really that hard
unclipping with one hand but it is hard at times to clip it closed while
holding your baby. But other than that I LOVE the stair barrier and would
definitely recommend this to EVERYONE!
Below I have
included pictures of the stair barrier for you to see the simple, unique and
best way I use it to keep my daughter safe!
